Every few weeks a "full" Grand Theft Auto VI map resurfaces, usually a composite built from trailer geography, older leaks, and a lot of educated guessing. The current one is unusually detailed. That is not the same as being accurate.
Where it comes from matters most
The strongest version of this map traces back to imagery from the 2022 development leak, which was real but years old, plus landmarks visible in the two official trailers. Everything between those anchor points is interpolation by the map's author. That is a reasonable hobby project; it is not a datamine of current build files.
Internal consistency is a weak signal
A map can be perfectly self-consistent and still be wrong, because a skilled creator will make it consistent on purpose. Coastline shape matching the trailer skyline tells you the author watched the trailer carefully. It does not tell you they have seen the game.
Would it even matter?
This is the question people skip. Even a genuine leaked map changes very little about how the game plays or when it arrives. It is fun to study and it is not load-bearing. Enjoy it as fan work, hold it loosely, and do not let it set your expectations for the real thing.
